Awesome comparison and I totally agree – the audience wants a protagonist that is relatable. And as amazing as it would be, getting rescued from a horrible situation out of the blue just doesn’t happen to normal people.
The Deus in GoT definitely added to Sansa’s arc (as you mentioned), but I feel like it still took away from Jon’s. I wonder if there is a better way to foreshadow all of that *thinking face*

    Hmmm…. that is actualy true! Maybe there’s a reason jon keeps getting away … probably because there’s more to him ?
    Yeah it’s tricky giving focus to one character’s arc without taking away from another, but i think the point was to give Sansa her moment and emphasis the luck and messiness Jon faced
